• Explore some of the many festivals and fairs in the area. 
• Spend an afternoon apple or pumpkin picking – some of the farms offer a hay ride!
• Tailgate before and enjoy a sporting event, whether it be a child’s game, high school, college or a professional team. 
• Take a hike on one of the many trails that are found in the area. Bring your dog – they will love it too! 
• Share a picnic with friends and family.  There are many wonderful parks throughout the Hudson Valley. 
• Wander up and down main street of a historic town, in and out of shops or sipping hot chocolate at an outdoor café. 
• Take a car ride and listen to some of your favorite music while oohing and ahhing at the beautiful scenery.
